Having worked in over 10 cities in 8 countries across 4 continents and explored over 40 nations, her cosmopolitan upbringing from Maryland, U.S.A., and Enugu, Nigeria, has nurtured an unwavering dedication to artistic pursuits. Her creative expressions span visual arts, fashion, writing, photography, and the digital domain.
Educated at esteemed institutions, Somi holds degrees in Fashion Design from the Art Institute of NYC and Fashion Business Management and International Trade and Marketing, complemented by a Minor in Economics from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Committed to advancing her artistic pursuits, she earned an MA in Global Creative and Cultural Industries from SOAS University of London.

It’s really an embodiment of all my creative endeavors and everything I add a touch of ‘Somi’ too. Putting a little bit of my spin on things, be it mine or others.
My little corner to bring out my creativity and inspire others to bring out theirs as well. I believe everyone is creative and there is an infinite energy to creativity that can be harnessed to make positive changes and effect on our world. Through this platform, I aim to create a space that is free, expressive and sincere.
